Chapter 1

Kailey, a 20 year old girl with blonde, straight hair to the middle of her back, green eyes, and about 5'7 was at the skating rink where she worked as a floor guard. She had been skating with her friends who were regulars at the rink. A little girl fell, and was crying, she had hurt herself bad. Kailey was called over to help her, when she looked to the back of the rink for assistance. She locked eyes with a gorgeous guy. But Kailey's job was to make sure the little girl was alright. After all of the commotion her and her manager were talking about what had happened, when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Kailey turned around to see the guy she had locked eyes with earlier that evening. He said "Sorry to interrupt you, but I couldn't take my eyes off of you." Kailey's manager told her, "Kailey, I will talk to you later." "Kailey then turned around to talk to the guy she had been astonished by. She then said, " Hello, my name is Kailey, I am 20 years old, and as you can see I work here 5 nights a week." "The guy then introduced himself, "My name is Erik-Michael, I am 21 years old, and I am in a singing group." Kailey's one-hour break was coming up, so she asked Erik, " When my break comes, do you want to go to the restaurant next door to talk", he said, " Yes."

They arrived at the restaurant, and ordered their beverages. Kailey then asked Erik, " So..why would a guy like you be at a skating rink?" He responded with, " Me, my friends, and my cousin are in town for the weekend, and we decided on going skating." Their orders were ready, and so they settled down to eat. As they ate in silence, Erik turns around to see his friend Trevor walk in with Kailey's friend Tina. Kailey was amazed, and called Tina over to her while Erik and Trevor were talking. "How did you meet him, he is Erik's best friend, and you are mine, that's weird!" Kailey asked in astonishment. Tina had a look of confusion on her face, and had to think it over for a minute. "I met him at the store (where Tina worked), he was picking up some water, quite a few bottles. He asked me for my number, and we hooked up tonight." Kailey told Tina to bring her date over along with Erik. They all talked about the coincidence of Kailey's friend being out with Erik's friend. "OH MY GOD", Kailey screamed looking at the clock."I have to get back to work!", leaving without saying goodbye to Erik,Tina, or Trevor.

About 15 minutes later, Kailey was working at the purchase desk. She seen Tina come in, with Trevor and Erik. Tina and Trevor walked over to sit down and put on their skates, and hit the floor. Erik slowly walked up to the purchase desk, Kailey tried not to look at him, as if she was doing something else. Erik said, " I have to go now, me and Trevor are going to drive Tina home, but can I have your number, and I will call you tomorrow". Kailey took a piece of paper from the reciept roll not caring if it effected it or not, a pen from under the desk and wrote:

Erik took the piece of paper from her hand, and slightly kissed her on the cheek. Kailey was amazed. The only thing that was running through her head was 'I just met him tonight, and already I am in love with him.'

Chapter 2

Kailey had woken up on Saturday morning, still thinking about Erik. She desperately ran to her answering machine to check her messages. She flicked though them, until she heard, " Would I be the harbor always there for you, right there for you baby, would I be the shelter that would shield you, yeah" in a soft, singing voice. She had called back the number, and heard, "Hello" on the other end. She had said, " Hello, who is this, you had called my house earlier, who were you trying to reach?" Kailey then heard the singing again. Erik was on the other line, he said, "Kailey, it's me Erik. Remember, we met last night at the rink". Just then Kailey felt butterflies in her stomache. She had been thinking about him all morning. Erik and Kailey had a conversation. He had asked her if she had work that night, and she told him no. Erik asked her if she wanted to go see a movie with him. Kailey, with excitement in the tone of her voice suddenly said, "Sure, I'll go, oh and by the way, I love your singing." Erik thanked her, and told her he was in a singing group. Kailey said, "Pick me up at 5:00, and we'll head for the movies.Here's my address 3256 Winston Court, you can't miss it, right next to the rink."

Chapter 3

So, as Kailey was finishing up her make-up, and fixing her hair, she walked over to the radio and turned on the radio. She heard the DJ say, "Now, here is this new group named O-Town, and their first single 'Liquid Dreams' " She was dancing in the mirror, and thought, 'Hey...I like this song alot'. The Kailey's most favorite song came on. She was all finished getting ready, after about 3 hours. She was waiting on the front porch of her house when she seen a red Mercedes Benz Beamer roll up into her driveway, next to her silver Oldsmobile Alero. She sat there astonished by the car she had seen. Just then Erik opened the door, got out and walked up to her house. Kailey had on dark jeans, a gray Aeropostale sweatshirt on, and her hair down and parted to the side. Erik had on a white white wife-beater on, with a black and gray plaid button up shirt on over it, with black jeans, and whie Nike Air Ones. Erik said hello, and Kailey said hello back. They got into the conversation on which movie they were going to see. They decided on 'The Glass House'. They sat there into the movie. They shared a drink, and a medium popcorn. Kailey devilishy layed her head on Erik's shoulder, she had liked him alot. She knew from the first time she seen him the night before that the rink, she was in love with him. Erik had anything any girl could want. He was tall, young, good-looking,nice, and knew how to treat a girl. He had the eyes to die for. The baby face, caramel complection, big brown eyes, and the short brown hair. When the movies was over, Erik invited Kailey for a walk along the beach, since they were right there. They walked for a while. They started talking about their early lives. Erik drove Kailey back to her house, he kissed her on the cheek, hugged ger, and they said goodbye.

Chapter 4

Kailey woke up real early. She made her breakfast, and sat down and ate. She hopped in the shower after she ate, and was singing the lyrics Erik had left on her answering machine the previoud morning. She had really liked the song, and was going to ask him to sing it to her when she seen him next. She got out, and put sweatpants and a t-shirt on, since she wasn't doing nothing, so far as she knew. She went to her answering machine, and checked her messages, as she did every time she had gotten out of the shower. She had a message from her friend, saying that she was having a party on Thursday night. Then she came to the soft, delicate voice of Erik again. This time he sang the lyrics 'You know I'd fight for you, but how can I fight someone who isn't even there. I've had the rest of you, now I can't the best of you, I don't care if that's not fair.' She dialed Erik's digits, and no answer, so she went to her living room, sat down and watched tv. The phone rang, she had been hoping for Erik to call, and was excited when it rang. She said, "Hello" in excitment, and Erik was on the other line. She's been so happy, she almost screamed, but lucky enough she held it in. She invited him to come over to have dinner and watch a movie. Kailey had quicly gotten dressed and did her make-up and put her hair up into a ponytail. About a half-an-hour later she heard her doorbell ring. Erik had arrived, with white carnations, Kailey's favorite flower. Kailey had been in such an 'awe'. She was suprised that he brought her, her favorite flowers, and she hadn't told him. They went to the store, and got some salad, and some paste. Since Erik was part Italian, he cooked for her one of his favorite meals. While they were out, they had gone out and rented a movie. They came back to Kailey's house, and Kailey set up the VCR, and straightened up her house while Erik was in the kitchen cooking. Kailey was thinking through her head 'if only we were officially together, this would be a great chapter in my life.' That's when she heard Erik singing, she loved the sound of his soft voice. She went behind him, and began to hug him. He knew that she liked him as much as he liked her, right then and there he knew they were meant for eachother. Erik had been thinking about asking Kailey to be his girlfriend, and tonight was the night he was finally going to ask her.

Chapter 5

Erik and Kailey sat down to eat. They had pretty much a silent dinner. They had washed the dishes and put them away. They got some drinks, and made some popcorn, and settled down to watch the movie they had rented. Kailey has soon snuggled up to Erik in the middle of the movie. Erik had his arm around her, and Kailey felt as if she were in her glory. She had never had this feeling for anyone before, and she was hoping to officially be with Erik by the end of the night, only she wasn't going to ask him. But, Kailey had no idea that Erik was going to ask her to be his girlfriend tonight. The movie was over, and they stared each other deeply in the eyes. Kailey axciously felt that she had to be with him. She now knew that she had fallen in love with this man she had met two days ago. Erik had lightly kissed Kailey on her lips, and soon were kissing more heavily. Erik said, "Kailey, I have to ask you something." Kailey was hoping this was the time he was going to ask her, and indeed it was."Sure, what is it", she said."I've been thinking, and I know we've only known each other for two days, but I'm simply falling in love with you", Erik had said low."Yeah", Kailey was waiting for him to ask her."So...I was wondering, will you be my girlfriend?" Kailey replied, "Yes", without thinking, because this was what she knew she wanted. Erik leaned in and kissed her again on the lips. Kailey soon asked Erik, "Where do you come up with them songs that you leave on my answering machine?" "Well, you see, I'm in a group, and those are some of our songs.You may not be too familiar with my group, but we are called O-Town, and our first single 'Liquid Dreams' is currently in the radio air waves, maybe you've heard it" Kailey thought for a minute, and she knew that the song Erik had been telling her about at that moment was the one she had heard on the radio while getting ready for their date the night before. Kailey asked, "Will you sing a part from the first some you left on my machine, the one about the harbor?" Erik suddenly started singing with his sweet voice,"Would I be the harbor always there for you, right there for you baby, would I be the shelter that will shield you, yeah." Kailey had been mesmorize by his voice. Erik knew he had to be up early the next day for rehearsal, and invited Kailey along. She would finally get to meet Jacob, Dan, and Ashley tomorrow. She had already met Trevor with her friend Tina at the restaurant. They kissed softly, and hugged tightly, and Erik left. Kailey was so happy, she was with Erik, and in her glory. She fell right to sleep with a huge smile on her face.

Chapter 6

As Kailey was in the shower the next morning getting ready for Erik to pick her up to go to his rehearsal, she had the radio on. She heard the O-Town song again, and tried to point out Erik's part. As soon as his part came up, she knew it was him, by his soft-voice. Meanwhile, Erik told the guys about him and Kailey. They were very happy for Erik. Trevor told them about him and Kailey's best friend Tina, they were together also. Erik thought this was great. Kailey had been ready, and Erik soon pulled up with Trevor and Tina in the car. Trevor and Tina had been on the back of the car, and Erik and Kailey in the front. Tina then told Kailey about her and Trevor, and Kailey told her about her and Erik. They were both happy for each other, so best friends should be. They arrived at the rehearsal studio, where Ashley, Dan, and Jacob were waiting for them. The four of them walked in, and Erik and Trevor introduced their new girlfriends to their bandmates. They all seemed to be getting along really well. The guys sang, and danced for 6 long hours, while Tina and Kailey sat to the side and watched. They now knew that their guys worked very hard, and stay commited, and they knew that they would stay commited to them too.

Chapter 7

Three years have gone by. Kailey and Erik are newly-weds, and Trevor and Tina are engaged. Ashley is interested in Tina's mother's best friend's daughter. Jacob is still with his girlfriend Jessica, and Dan is still talking to Erika, his old friend from home. Kailey and Erik are happier than ever, and they thank god everyday that god's fate had brought them together. The girls are traveling on the road with the guys, and O-Town is still going strong, and hopefully will for a long time. Kailey and Erik moved in together, in a 3 bedroom house. They are expecting their first child 2 years after their marriage, a little girl named, Holli Crystine. Trevor and Tina are finally married, and living together. Although the other guys are unfortunately single, O-Town is still going strong, as Kailey had predicted they would.
