Making The Fan
Despite the many AWESOME entries we got in, We had to pick 1 (Unfortunatly), This was a VERY hard choice, and all your entries we're amazing. Don't worry! You'll still be counted in other Making The Fan contests. But here's our winner, who wins a J-14 Magazine!
Daysha! Here's her entry:
On April 13th I had surgery on my foot because my bones in my
feet are not straight. My doctors tell me that I had on of the most
painful surgeries. Well every since then I have been going back and forth
to Tampa Florida (where I had surgery) every month to have check ups. I
had an appointment in Tampa June 19th well June 19th is the day O-Town
was coming to Savannah (where I live) For free Concert, So I Traveled
down to Gainsville Florida on June 18th to stay the night with my aunt
and uncle who live there. On June 19th I woke up at 3am to leave for a
3 hour ride to Tampa from Gainsville to have my check up at 8:45 am.
Well I had my check up and after that we left the hospital at 11:00am
straight home (a six hour ride) well while I was in the car my mom told me
what the doctor said, he said that my bones are not healing from where
he had to cut my bones in half and put a screw in my foot, he said that
there is a gap between my bones and that I need to stay on my cr!
uthes for another month and I also might need a wheelchair. Well the
concert at the savannah mall started at 9pm and I got home at five
o,clock and my cousin promised to pick me up and take me well I called her
house and she was already gone so i started to get very upset and all of
a sudden my friend called and said she could give me a ride so she came
to pick me up and we went to the concert and i did not take my crutches
or wheelchair I walked at the concert and we got front row and after
the concert my foot started to hurt and i went home and my mom said that
i have to have surgery again because I messed up my foot and said well
I love O-Town and I had to see them so for them I will go through
another painful surgery. I would give up my life for O-Town cuz I love them
so much. I also have a shrine of O-Town, I have a shoe box the i
decorated with picture of them and every thing about them and I keep every
thing about O-town in my box and thats why I think Im the #1 fan bec!
ause I went through trouble to see them and I now have to have surgery
again. thanx !
